The project began as a very basic website provided by the client. I led the transformation of that concept into a production-ready MVP, architecting and developing the full application end to end. The platform allows dancers to upload performance videos, which are reviewed by professional judges. Judges can provide detailed critiques in both audio and text formats. These critiques are enhanced with AI-powered features that generate personalized exercise recommendations and improvement suggestions based on the feedback and the dancer’s performance. The application includes a secure, role-based access control system to support different user roles such as dancers, judges, and administrators. Payments are handled through Stripe, with full multi-currency support to accommodate an international user base. CritVid is now live and actively used, supporting real-world dance competitions and ongoing critiques, demonstrating scalability, performance, and reliability in a production environment.
