I am a research scientist with expertise in Python, Jupyter Notebook, Binder, Pandas, Numpy, several visualization packages (matlplotlib, altair, voila) and medical imaging packages (SimpleITK and ITK).

Since 2019 I am an independent researcher and teacher. I create reproducible workflows and I teach Python. I am also writing a book entitled Learn Python with Jupyter (https://learnpythonwithjupyter.com/). In the past, I worked as a research scientist at Stanford University (2.5 years) and University of California San Francisco (4 years). I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and I am specialized in medical image analysis.
