Stephen Gheysens

Javascript has been my language of choice due to its quick time to implementation for web applications. It has been the primary language I've used in my current and previous jobs. I have worked with frontend frameworks like Backbone and React (light experience with Angular), on the server running on the Node environment, and with data-processing using local scripts/files/file directories.

I have built a few small hobby apps with Rails, and can easily jump into a project to resolve logic issues, API usage, and basic Rails troubleshooting.

I've worked with the HTML and CSS in every web project I've been a part of, so I've got some solid professional experience with these frontend languages.

I have used Python for data processing scripts (local processing of CSV/TSV/XLSX files and basic Map Reduce jobs) and small Django-based web applications.

I have introductory experience with iOS development using Swift and I'm happy to try and help (I don't mind pausing a session if it becomes a learning lesson for both of us)!
