Part of the app-platform team that is responsible for maintaining and improving Apixio’s core Scala based backend microservices that run’s its Medical Coding solution. Transformed medical data from various sources (Redis, MariaDB, ElasticSearch) using Python and Pandas for statistical reports. Implemented a change to our in house Workflow manager that would prioritize certain medical codes (HCC’s and ICD’s) to streamline medical coding. Created several test notebooks in Jupyter that used Apixio’s custom API to facilitate business decisions and test functionality of our backend code.

Joined Sigma Consulting and was added to the Facebook Portal Audio team to design and develop automated testing solutions for Facebook’s Portal. Worked with a partner team in Sigma Sweden to bring up a framework for running captured audio through several audio metrics such as TCLw, ASL, PAQ. Used Huey, RabbitMQ, and Python to create the architecture for a testing and metric capturing framework.

Developed and end to end CI/CD pipeline that would run automated test cases, quantify and aggregate the results, then push them up to a database for later viewing using the TestRail API. Used Pandas and Matplotlib to transform and visualize data found in JSON logs to analyze for changes in several fields such as RSSI, SNR, etc. for our 60 GHz Wifi system. Used raw sockets in Python to create a library that would dissect and generate packets at a rate of 3000 packets per minute, for an XCOM proprietary protocol(XSTP) that sat on top of the Ethernet layer, which was used to simulate and test the the functionality of custom switching fabric on a Xilinx FPGA.
