I worked on the business services team which maintains banner finance, banner Human Resources, and banner Accounts Receivable. We also supported a reporting tool called infoGriz which is a homegrown reporting tool using the BIRT report design tool. We also supported Helena College, Miles Community College and Dawson Community College. I did a little bit of everything ranging from project management to development to testing. Most of my development time was spent in PL/SQL, however we also had programs written in Cobol, C, and Java. As Ellucian (the parent company of our ERP) advances we are learning the Groovy & Grails tech stack which combines multiple technologies.
