Robert Butler

I have been a full-stack developer for most of my career, most recently with 7 years of experience in developing, deploying and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications on Amazon Web Services.

I've done multiple cloud migrations, developed a container based infrastructure on AWS for a Rails complex Rails application. I'm particularly adept at migrations, models and database management. I can help puzzle through complex business logic and I also have deep expertise in Ruby outside of Rails, including high performance tuning and parallelism (took 8+ hour background job to around 15 minutes).
