I am a software developer since 2010 using mainly Python and Java programming languages.
Currently, I am a Python Back End developer at Newfire Global Partners and working for inTandem Health - a technology-enabled Peer-to-Peer Mentor Support Platform that empowers meaningful connections between newly diagnosed patients with trained patient mentors who experienced the same life-changing diagnosis.
In 2017, I founded a small company (Mais Correções) and developed its web platform using Python and Django. The platform helped more than 1000 teachers and students with essay studying.

This is my own startup project, a platform to help students and teachers on the studying of essays/texts for exams. I’m the only technical responsible for the whole development process - from the project creation to the deployment on the cloud. Hence, I could learn a lot about system design, cloud services (DigitalOcean and some AWS services), project management and entrepreneurship. The company has extremely high costs to maintain the infrastructure of legacy systems (Mainframe / COBOL). Our mission is to deactivate systems running on that legacy infrastructure by creating modernized versions with new technologies. * Rewriting the programs using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular for web applications and Spring Batch for batch applications. * Modernized more than a hundred programs in about two years of work, which means more than a million in cost reduction
