Hi, I'm an experienced engineer that enjoys sharing their knowledge. I've had the opportunity to do this in multiple previous tutoring roles (college math center, Wyzant), as well as a senior engineer mentoring newer engineers.
My first professional role in software was 2+ years in DevOps at Thomson Reuters, where I worked in a Linux environment with tools including Bash, Python, awk, sed, git, and command-line standards.
During this time I also completed the University of Michigan TechArb accelerator with a website I authored with co-founders that allowed for easier access to open congressional data.
I then worked 2+ as an embedded firmware engineer first at Bird, and then at Elementary Robotics. Here I wrote C targeting both bare-metal and real-time OS environments, and Linux-based application software in Python and C++.
