I was the original developer of the OAuth Ruby gem and have also developed 2 different OAuth2 libraries for Clojure. I got into it as the original standard was being developed back in 2007 and was also involved in developing the OAuth 2 standard.

I've been working with financial cryptography and virtual currencies since the late 90s. While initially skeptical of Bitcoin, I'm really excited about the technology and have worked extensively with it on various projects and spoken at many bitcoin conferences throughout the world.

I was coming off a project working as a techlead on a J2EE project right as DHH released the first version in 2004. I was frustrated with the Java world and instantly fell in love with it. I've now worked on many different projects small and large.

I am using Clojure now for all of my own projects. It's a really refreshing way of thinking that I believe has also improved my Ruby code. I have used it for both web apps, http API's and bitcoin transaction processing.

I learnt ruby at the same time as Ruby on Rails. Since then I worked on many different kinds of applications with it from sinatra, command line and written several gems.
