I picked up my first programming language when I was 15 and got my first programming job at 17 working at a small eBay powerseller. During which I built several systems from the ground up to help further automate their processes. I graduated in December 2020 with a degree in Computer Science from George Mason University.

Upon joining, I was given the primary leading role in the creation of a multi-cloud terraform installation script of our distributed SaaS data science platform. Solving this task first required gaining a strong understanding of the infrastructure from the ground up. It also involved addressing compliance challenges such as air gap requirements, networking restrictions, disallowed cloud services and limited permissions. To give an example addressing air gap and disallowed cloud services, I used terraform to create a self managed Rancher cluster with all required resources baked into AMIs.
