I hold a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria as well as an MSc in AI and Robotics from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Prior to my Masters’ studies, she worked at Andela as a Software Engineer/Technical team lead for various clients in the US and North America.

I'm an avid research and development engineer with a focus on AI & Robotics. As a Data Scientist, Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer with a strong history of driving business expansion opportunities, performing deep learning, AI/ML modelling, delivering computer vision-based AI projects and optimisation for organisational growth.

I am adept at implementing state-of-the-art computer vision and Machine Learning models, evaluating performance with real-time key business objectives, and introducing research prototypes and features into clients’ portfolios of market-leading instrument requirements. I recognise the importance and power of data, and the valuable insights that can be derived from data made me interested in working with large amounts of data, turning the data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Among other research work I've done, my favourite is the ARTEMIS (Advanced Robotic breasT ExaMination Intelligent System) project funded by Cancer Research UK. I led this project that combines research in Robot learning and Computer vision and it got accepted at the last AAAI conference in Vancouver. I was also on the Advisory Board of Alan Turing Institute, United Kingdom where I worked as a consultant alongside other brilliant minds to incorporate the participation and voice of global perspectives on Advancing Data Justice Research and Practice.
