Masafumi OKURA

Hi, I'm Masafumi from Japan. I've been doing a development work with Ruby and Ruby on Rails for 10 years. I've been working as a freelance software developer in most of my career.
I'm a big fan of Ruby and Ruby on Rails, particularly because they both value developer happiness and are easy to use. I'd love to share this feeling via mentoring.
In addition to my daily job, I do some side projects. I teach in RailsGirls events more than 10 times. I also started and manage a few Ruby meetups in Japan.
I'm the chief organizer of Kaigi on Rails, a yearly tech conference focusing on Rails and web development. I've given talks in some conferences in both Japanese and English.
I contribute to Open Source Softwares because I rely on them so much. I maintain my own project called Alba with more than 200 GitHub Stars.
