I've used C++ on various projects including image processing software and Clang-based program analysis tools. I've done a lot of work with performance optimization. I'm up to speed on the latest features introduced in C++11 and beyond.

I was an early adopter of CUDA and learned the low-level details the hard way, before there was much tooling to help out. I've used it to write a lot of image processing and rendering code where performance was critical.

I used Common Lisp for several years while researching automatic program repair and other search-based software engineering techniques. During that time I made significant contributions to the open source Software Evolution Library (https://github.com/GrammaTech/sel).

Python is my go-to language for scripting and small utilities, so it gets used at least a little bit on almost every project I work on. I've also used in for several larger projects, including some complex GUI applications using PyQt.
