I have been using Ruby almost exclusively for the last 5 years. I have contributed to and created my own open source gems.

I started working with HTML in highschool! I have been using it for years. I am pretty much full time using HTML5 and all of its beauty and magic now.

I started working with Microsoft SQL Server in 2000 and used it almost exclusively until about 2007. Though I have some experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL. I have been on both sides of the fence with MSSQL playing the role of both the SQL programmer & DB designer as well as systems administration and DB administrator.

I started out on the tail end of Rails 2.3.x using it to build some prototypes and pet projects. In 2011 I helped to transition a .NET development team into a complete rewrite of the .NET code to Rails 3.0. Since then I have been almost exclusively building Rails applications.

Coming from Prototype.js I loved how much easier it was to work with jQuery. I have been using in websites and applications since 2008! I have used it for building some pretty crazy apps including a graphical t-shirt designer back before things like Angular and Backbone were all hip and trendy.

I've been using Git for about 3 years now, moving on from the SVN world. We have been using the GitFlow strategy for about 2 years now and love it. I am not a Git command line expert, but have some good experience in planning how to best use and implement Git for versioning and tracking your code base.

We switched to using CoffeeScript pretty much exclusively about a year ago. I have mostly used CoffeeScript in the context of both WordPress and Ruby on Rails sites.
