I have a lot of experience building with PHP. I've written my own PHP framework, PHP shell scripts, and numerous custom PHP web sites. I'm especially knowledgeable with Laravel projects, Craft CMS, WordPress, and most popular PHP packages and libraries. This is my biggest claim-to-fame on the Internet, and my biggest passion. I spend most of everyday working with PHP. If you have an issue with something PHP related, I know I can fix it.

I have a lot of experience with WordPress. Not only building themes, but even in more advanced topics, like writing custom plugins, security, integration of third-party PHP libraries, etc. The best advice I have for using WordPress, is to NOT use it. Another passion of mine is server administration - specifically Linux systems. I have a lot of experience not only setting up fresh installations of Red Hat/Debian/Arch based systems, but also compiling/installing software packages, and configuring them. Whether you need a LAMP stack, or another server package setup, I'm capable of making that happen. Also, I have experience with Puppet environments. When your server architecture needs to scale easily, Puppet can handle all the heavy lifting, and I can help get that setup as well.

Version control is a key element to your software development. Not only does it help all your developers collaborate together on a project, but it ensures that if something get's messed up, you can revert back to the previously working copy. And if you need to do more advanced things like setting up Post Receive hooks, or service-as-a-platform systems, I can help you do that as well.

This is a skill that goes almost without saying as a developer. If you haven't learned the basics of HTML, you've got a long way to go. But have no fear, I'm the man to get you up to speed. I spend almost everyday working with HTML in some form or fashion. HTML is easy to learn, and we'll have you fixed up in no time.

This is another language that goes hand in hand with being a web developer. It's simple enough, and I the man to answer any questions I might have. There isn't a day that goes by that I'm not using JavaScript on a web page.

jQuery is a great frontend library for taking the most advantage of native JavaScript, and giving you the tools to build powerful applications. The API is different from native JavaScript, but fits in right along side it. Any problems you have with that, and I'll show you how to get it working.
