With a deep background in computational biology, AI, and large-scale data systems, I've spent my career at the intersection of genomics and machine learning. I’m here to help others navigate and excel in this evolving landscape.
Via my consulting company, I worked with several companies in the music/media industry (I am a pianist myself).
Some examples are developing custom DSP tools used in biomedical audio diagnostic and media analysis pipelines, audio feature extraction engines for time series classifications (LibROSA and JUCE) and last but not least integration of real time audio analytics (with a focus on latency and multi-threaded performance)
Regarding Scrum and Agile, I am very familiar with both frameworks.
For the projects :
- Real time audio extraction was built in C++ and Python to develop modular DSPs; we followed a strict 2 week sprint cycle, using mostly Jira to monitor epics and tickets. I was the tech lead, so I coordinated the daily stand ups, retrospective and sprint planning (and more, tying to be concise :) )
- The ML integrated plugin framework for media diagnostics project was a fast paced effort, where we prototyped a series of audio plugins incorporating signal processing and ML classification layers (with PyTorch). Worked very closely with QA and DevOps for CI/CD
