I am a Software Engineer living in Amsterdam, originally from Budapest. I can be best described as a generalist because I like to be present everywhere in a product's lifecycle. From a technical point of view, I am a Full Stack Engineer with a backend focus and strong interest in DevOps and infrastructure topics. Since the beginning of my career, I have been developing products to make the life of Engineers and Developers easier.
I currently work at Kinsta, a great cloud hosting provider (platform-as-a-service), check us out if you need a good host for WordPress sites, web applications or databases. Together with my team, we maintain our Public API: https://kinsta.com/docs/api/ and a local development environment called DevKinsta (a Docker-based local development environment): https://kinsta.com/devkinsta/.
I am the leader of this dev team, and besides the leadership responsibilities, I do hands-on work with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and GCP products, besides the application-level tech stack, which is mostly Node.js, React, and Apollo GraphQL.
Nowadays I've become very hyped by the recent progress of AI and its use in development particularly. Therefore, I am working on extending my skillset into this direction, boosting my productivity by tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
