95% remote leader/director/architect of team of 10+ developers on a variety of products and projects, many of which based on the Syscoin blockchain. Establisher of all things Agile and Scrum-based at the company. Built personal growth plans, performance scorecarding for all team members. Vetted/interviewed product team developers, coordinated product + "core" teams, performed product roadmapping, development and architecture, sprint planning. Built/enforced standards and practices for a 50% local, 50% distributed team with members as far as India and Spain. Active contributor to the syscoin development ecosystem. Primary author of upcoming open sourced syscoin-js sdk and open sourced syscoin-api-server, reducing barrier to entry for cryptocurrency enthusiasts to contribute to Syscoin development.

Left Aequilibrium on good terms to be sole architect, developer, and co-founder along with Matt Corstorphine from Aequilibrium/inContract (below). POI-based application with a slightly different spin from the usual entries in this area. Handled the “early CTO triangle” of software development/architecture, product management, and project management. Front-end written in Swift (mobile) along with React+Next.js (web), back-end written with AWS services (Cognito, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda). Product uses an event-sourced/driven architecture. Product on hold after a successful and validating private beta run (long story...aren't they all ;) ) Name of product is withheld in case it is ever resurrected one day. =)

Led team of up to 45. Initially joined company as senior developer, promoted to Director very shortly afterwards based on demonstrated performance/expertise, concluded run as corporate second-in-command. Worked in both business advisory and architectural capacity; occasionally as chief architect or developer as needed. Helped determine direction/roadmap of the company, thought leadership at the executive level. Led and participated in architectural and development work encompassing both web and hybrid mobile projects for clients and internal projects. After sabbatical, returned to company with a strategic and transformational plan in mind, and accomplished this in 6 months. Doubled company size in first 3 months of new role, and brought $Ms in new revenue through consultation/project quality and company turnaround. Corporate second-in-command, in addition to being active developer. First run set record for highest QSat (customer satisfaction) rating in company history, second run’s average QSat eclipsed the first. Also part of the highest profit quarters in company history. Created personal development plans for all departments; created “project scorecard” for standardizing quality of client engagements, leading to vastly increased engagement quality on both sides. Created supremely high quality technical screen process + screening that is still in use after departure. Sent an E-mail that ended up being worth half a million of dollars on its own (not an exaggeration, ask me about it).
