I am comfortable with using JavaScript for both client and server side functions. I have build code modules that query and parse data. I can write effective DOM manipulations that cover a variety of browsers.

I am a certified Demandware developer and Systems Architect. I develop and maintain large scale eCommerce sites. I am comfortable with building new features from scratch or working with a pre-built integration. My position allows me to make high level architect decisions on how to best implement a new feature. I can assist with all assets of Demandware development including: pipelines, pipelets, .ds scripts, ISML templates, CSS, and JS.

I work on large scale sites that rely on jQuery and a variety of plugins. I am comfortable with organize jQuery code into separate modules to organize and clean up code so it works more reliably and predictably. I follow best practices for using jQuery selectors wisely, while keeping performance and functionality as high priorities.

I have built many large and small scale sites using a variety of front end technologies and methods. Sites I have built have functioned as storefronts, blogs, event sites, and portfolios. I am comfortable with the newest technology being used to scaffold out sites and single page applications. I strive to write semantic markup and styling that suits the needs of the project.
