I've been around the web before CSS existed so I kinda evolved and matured with the web. I understand the semantics and know my way around clean decent HTML / CSS

Ever since I used a scripts (vbscript back in the days) and javascript nowadays I've been a huge fan of the power. As a young developer I learned the hard way that with this great power came a great responsibility. Since then I've advocated to use javascript only as a layer to enhance behaviour.

I have a love / hate relationship with javascript. I love making things easy for users to do stuff with javascript and knowing everything will keep on working without. Besides javascript int he browser I love using it to aid me in my build process to concatenate, minify, lint, etc... I have some experience with serverside javascript but have only been using it for pet projects as I find it too immature compared to java etc...
