I'm a senior software engineer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with over 13 years of experience building web applications, backend services and payment systems.

I spent over three years working fully remotely from Malaysia for Curotec, a US company. I built client applications with Laravel and Vue, worked directly with clients on requirements, and helped resolve critical production issues.

At Qashier, I lead backend and full-stack development work in a team spread across four countries. I work on merchant-facing applications and backend integrations, and led a migration from Google Cloud Run to Kubernetes to reduce cloud costs and give us more control over deployments.

I've also led a team of five to six developers across more than ten projects. That included moving legacy PHP applications to Laravel, improving how the team worked with source control and shared packages, and helping developers build their skills.

My main stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, Vue and Laravel. I also work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firestore and cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud and AWS.

I'm looking for a fully remote senior engineering role where I can keep building software and take responsibility for the technical work. I'll remain based in Malaysia and am open to employment through a local entity or EOR, or a long-term contract.

I have also been working fully remotely for more than three years and have developed a sense of self-motivation and accountability. I can work independently or as part of a team, communicate effectively, and deliver high-quality results on time. I am flexible with any time zones and can adapt to different work environments.
