I have built the chat server using Ejabberd as a tool which was made available to millions of users. Due to extensive business requirements, I have leveraged Ejabberd to implement many features i.e Chat sync, Last seen info, Is typing feature, http bosh (for web chat), Online or Offline. In addition to the new features, I have built a completely new library that gathers Chat server stats on a time series database (InfluxDb) in near realtime. Later I have load tested & optimised the Ejabberd server using Tsung as distributed load testing tool to make it available to more than 200K+ concurrent connections on the 32GB aws ec-2 machine.

I have worked on various Ruby on Rails projects that was built from the scratch & I was involved throughout the process of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). In addition to the above, I have been extensively involved in scaling, optimising applications (i.e api response time, configs etc) & application-servers.

MySQL has been the most used database engine throughout my career. From building a simple data storage to storing analytics data with millions of entries, MySQL has been useful to deliver data storage and optimised data delivery.

Have built many web applications from scratch using Ruby & Ruby on Rails.
