• Acted as a full-stack developer at a technology-driven high-frequency trading firm operating in financial markets worldwide.
• Designed and developed a data streaming web app from scratch. It transmits real-time strategies data (multiple MBs every second) from exchanges to browsers of several traders in the firm. Worked extensively with websockets for broadcasting the data.
• Built dynamic user interfaces for traders to interact with the strategies (change parameters, start and stop the strategies, clear risk flags, manage positions etc.)
• Designed and developed the functionality to generate real time graphs of PnL, fees paid, option greeks (delta, gamma, theta), bid-ask price etc.
• Developed trading strategy controller, risk management system, front-end processor for Korean exchange, trade order test suite, and risk analytics application, among other solutions

Provided full-stack development services for a US-based hedge fund with over $60 billion AUM.

• Served as the primary developer for Employee Tracker (InOut), Immigration and Travel Manager (HcPortal), and Performance Appraisal (PAS) applications in the human capital development team
• Designed and developed many features for these applications after multiple discussions with the stakeholders (users and and product managers).
• Provided on-call support and ticket resolution for my applications
• Wrote Jenkins CI/CD scripts to deploy applications to production.

Improved search results by implementing semantic similarity, phonetic similarity and abbreviation-expansion
matching algorithms. Tech used Schwartz-Hearst algorithm and phonetic encodings like NYSIIS and Soundex.
