My professional life has been always tied with Node.js and Javascript some way or the other. It was used at every job I had, many times as core part of the service. This helped me become proficient with it, learn to avoid quirks of the language and find best patterns of writing software, be that Node, or Browser, or Cordova app.

This is the main platform of my professional life. I've built lots of stuff with it: websites, job queues, microservices for mobile games, web crawlers, lost of backends and rest APIs. Most of those are fully-tested, easily maintainable and well documented. Checkout for yourself on my github contribution page.

Pretty excited to work with UI in a way React encourages, makes it almost as fun as serverside.

I've lately dived into frontend with projects that were built using backbone (GUI for Cordova app and couple of websites of varying complexity). I learned my way around pretty well — enough to understand common patterns, maintain codebase and gradually port things to React (which is what I do frontend-wise nowadays).
