I first began studying Ruby on Rails several years before starting my career, however, my first professional experience came later on as part of an Upwork assignment. I was rebuilding an Angular application as a Rails application, which involved database planning, design, and development of their codebase. Since then I've built e-commerce and CMS platforms on Rails in my current role as Chief Engineer. This has involved participation at every level of the stack, which has pushed my capabilities with the Rails framework.

I probably received my most rewarding Front End experience in a position as a Front End Developer for a company that specialized in e-commerce projects. I've worked with the latest technologies in the field and I greatly enjoy implementing design. My best work as a Front End Developer was for an e-commerce project where I was required to write a module that extended jQuery in order to sort through product variant information. We completed that project ahead of schedule with all project requirements met.
