I have more than 20 years of experience developing software and was an early employee at MongoDB, as well the developer of the MongoDB Node.

I have more than 20 years of experience developing software and was an early employee at MongoDB, as well the developer of the MongoDB Node.js driver.

My experiences have spanned the entire specter of responsibilities from being a lowly financial developer to working as a consultant and technical manager.

Before working at MongoDB I wrote the most popular Node.js driver for the database and had the opportunity to join MongoDB to help it become the most popular Node.js database. While at MongoDB I had the pleasure to run part of the driver team and later worked as a Staff Engineer on a Relational to MongoDB internal tool.

I'm always trying to exercise my technical skills as well as branching out into other non technical areas of experience such as project management and leading a team.

I love working with people smarter than me as it allows me to learn.
