Hi all,

Having worked with Postgresql for over 20 years and Django for over 10 years I'd like to share my expertise and experience built up working with these and other technologies, and help less experienced developers get going faster.

Day to day I work as the CTO of a small-ish company, with a team of 4 developers, helping them solve problems and decide on architecture and code structure.

I have excellent problem solving skills and can quickly understand code that I haven't seen before.

It's always important to me when helping someone that they understand why things work in a specific way, rather than simply handing out a solution.

Other technologies I've worked with includes Gitlab CI, Docker, Linux systems (CentOS, RHEL, Debian), Apache, mod_wsgi, Asterisk and SIP/VoIP telephony, and a range of monitoring and DevOps tools.
