I've been using C# for over 10 years since I got into game programming with XNA. Initially I developed 2D and 3D games for university and private projects but my career lead me to building enterprise systems. For the majority of my professional career I've built bespoke full-stack systems for businesses which have enabled them to operate more efficiently and use software that grows with them.

I've developed multi-user business systems using ASP.net and ASP Core as the web application host and front-end server.

SQL databases go hand-in-hand with business software projects - it's a tried and tested way of storing user and customer data. I've designed database schemas, written stored procedures and tuned queries. I have the most experience with MSSQL (aka TSQL) but have also used MySQL on some personal projects.

I initially got into programming through game development and have since come full circle back to hobbyist developing in Unity3d with C# in my spare time. I used it to develop my thesis project my my Masters degree and continue to work on personal Unity projects when I get a chance. I don't understand all the bells and whistles of the Unity editor itself but I would say I have an excellent understanding of how to design and write custom scripts and components for the Unity engine in C#.
