I have been working with R for the past two years - through my experience at Accenture Digital & SocialCops. I have been involved in various stages of the data life-cycle right from fetching data, to preparing and building models on top of it, and finally visualising it using interactive dashboards.
I built a hybrid model for flight price prediction in India (http://bit.ly/flightprice) which was selected to be presented at Data Science Congress 2017. I also worked on creating large scale forecasting models using ML at Accenture. My time at SocialCops taught me to work with public datasets, clean & prepare it to create thematic dashboards for the Indian government to make data-driven decisions.

Worked with the Ministry of Rural Development to develop a dashboard which was launched by PM Modi,for tracking and visualizing real-time data across 41 National level schemes for the Members of Parliament to make data-driven decisions. I spearheaded the data analysis, including data ingestion, rigorous data checks, validations & cleaning in R,geographical trend and inter variable analysis, facilitating efficient querying using Elastic Search, establishing automated pipelines using Apache Airflow and visualizing on a thematic dashboard built on NodeJS. I was also involed in creating and maintaing an internal R library to make the data processing efficient and generalised across the company.
