Achilles Heel of Coding Test Failures — Update 5 — Finished Explore Card: Arrays 101

I continue to fix my ‘unable to pass coding test’ inconvenience. Solved all problems in Arrays 101. Solutions available on my GitHub as usual.

Right then. As mentioned in my previous post, LeetCode has an ‘explore’ section which are like a cross between a tutorial and a challenge journey in some kind of an RPG game. There are explanations, videos, illustrations and so on.

Some of this, is locked behind the premium paywall (but, of course, I have already purchased the annual premium plan) for those students of mine, who wish to follow in my footsteps.

This is only the first chapter, so, it was not extremely difficult. However, for me, some of them were vexing and even occasionally frustrating. Sadly, although, I was able to submit solutions, my runtime and memory usage is not really in the high, expert level.

So, that is the symptom of the problem with my coding skills. And, that is really what I am trying to fix with this series of efforts related to LeetCode. You can find the Arrays 101 explore card, here.

Fun With Arrays on LeetCode

As usual, I have updated my github repo, with visual studio solutions.

And, that is all there is to. One last thought though. As I near the age of 40, I can feel in my heart, mind and body, learning stuff is not as easy as it used to be. I look at the above explore cards list, all of them scare me. However, that is the essence of things in itself. Going through all those cards, learning new stuff and solving all these problems might takes weeks, months, may be years.

But…I got to try.
