Amazing playlists and artist to hear while coding

Published Sep 26, 2018Last updated Oct 03, 2018

We all have our little ways and work habits and one of my favorite is to listen to stimulating music while I'm working. These playlists just makes code flow from my fingertips. Check them out:

Brain Food >> Spotify

Brain Food
This one is to get your mind out off wherever you are and bring you BACK. Let's WORK!!! Good rythm, not so slow. No lyrics. Creative changes of style withing the playlist, rich background noises in many songs... It's just amazing to work.

Deep Focus >> Spotify

Deep Focus
Deep Focus is a "night version" of Brain food, in my point of view. Also equally stunning and makes you unclutter your mind like a charm.

This one is a playlist I put together myself to show my friends the beauty of Brazilian Indie music. I'd rather not listen to something with lyrics I understand while I'm working, but this one is just a jewel after another.

Anamanaguchi >> Spotify

Anamanaguchi
Japanese band: 8-bit style upbeat music at its best. When you've got all your problems solved, but you've got a huuuuuge backlog of changes that you know exactly how to implement but just need to do it, this is the one! Reminds me of college so much!

Muse >> Spotify

Muse

It's my favorite band. I can sing along to many of the songs. It wakes up my brain when I need that extra dose of energy late at night. It's strong, inventive, loud, rich and the sounds are very rare. It's an energetic creativity boost in my mind.

Calm before the Storm >> Spotify

Calm Before the Storm

All is done. You're finishing your work, writing some report, replying some email. Let's unwind. Calm before the storm is the one.

Infinite Indie Folk >> Spotify

Infinite Indie Folk

One size fits all? This is the playlist. It's just versatile. On any mood, any time, this playlist is a blast. It also has lyrics, which could be distracting sometimes, but none of the songs are very well known anyway. So it's ok.

Put your huge headsets on, grab a big mug of coffee and turn it up!
