Naveen Rai (Performance Tester)

Published Oct 22, 2018

I am Naveen Rai and I have total 3 yrs of experience in Performance Testing using different type of tools like Load Runner, Jmeter, Netstorm, and analyssi tool Dyanatrance, Netdiagnostics, nmon,Grafana, dimstat and Centreon etc.
Having exclent knowledge of linux and shell scripting.

I have much experience as freelancer on other websites and offline. I have team of IT experts (Testing/Performance Testing/Devlopment/Linux administrator), to provide a satisfactory results. If you have any query regarding testing , am happy to give suggestion/answer you (free of cost).

For doing any kind of testing either Performance/UI/Manual we need to understand the following points.

  1. Architecture of application
    a. Layout of API flow.

  2. Behavior of Application/Server.--
    a. It is I/O Bound or CPU Bound.
    b. Which type of process is running on applications (java/.net).
    c. What is the resources allocated to server (CPU, CORE, Memory, Ram, Heap, Bandwidth) etc.

  3. We need all the API information that needs to be tested.
    a. API information Includes API Signature (URL) along with all the required header and for Post request Payload and Test-Data.
    b. We would also need the Server level agreement (What should be the expected response time for above API).

For Testing any application from performance point of view we first need to understand what should be performance expectation from the above application.
Performance expectation means, how the performance Indicators behaves for applying different workload model on the Testing environment.

In first phase of testing, we will test every API separately to check response and response time, than will make proper scenario up to desired load. During our testing we need to monitor server’s health as well, so we need your help regarding this.

Thanks & Regards,
Naveen Rai
