Teaching is the Best Way to Learn!

I encourage you all to teach.

When I was tutoring high-level math for high school children, sometimes I was so behind that thirty minutes before the lesson I had to fly through the notes I was to teach.

But sometimes all you need is to be one step ahead of the rest.

The small act of teaching will change you more than the student, and most of the time all the student needs to hear is another perspective.

Nevertheless, one cannot discredit the value of Deep Work and mastery. I wouldn't advocate for only being one step ahead all the time, but definitely to add to your bag of tricks when the going gets tough.
