I was the founder of a web development contracting firm that built startups and other web apps in Ruby on Rails (and later, AngularJS). I've led teams of Ruby / Rails developers for 9 years on over a dozen projects. I know every aspect of the Rails stack from routing through deployment. I'm also passionate about TDD/BDD, and know testing in Ruby backwards and forwards.

In the last few years of its operation, my contracting company built most of our websites with a Rails back-end and an Angular 1.X front-end. I was the team leader and software architect on three such startup projects.

I've been a web developer for over 20 years, and have used JavaScript one way or another in every project I've done.

REDUCED RATE FOR ELIXIR! I'm relatively new to Elixir, but am deeply passionate about it: the first language I've truly loved since Ruby. I'm currently developing a multiplayer video game server in it as my side project, with an emphasis of robustness and OTP architecture.
