PHP started me off as a web developer and although I've worked with other stacks, I'm still loyal. I may have done more than a 100 projects using PHP, from simple static pages with includes to 30k lines of code.

Since I discovered Laravel, at the time in version 3, I never looked back. It's elegant, feature-rich and gets the job done in no time. I strive to keep code well architected and have created with it some of the biggest projects to date.

Mobile development is special: it needs a great deal of experience and imagination to create complex interactions in such small screens. To me, iOS makes it a joy to work with, especially when Swift came onboard. I've currently developed 7 production apps, most of which are still on the App Store.

React is a modern approach to the DOM and generally to client-side applications. I embraced it's philosophy and even used it in production more than 3 years ago. Had to pause for a couple years, but have resumed to using it in most of the new apps I'm building.

Being a native iOS developer and having experimented with Android too, I know the pain of publishing multi-platform apps. React Native makes it a breeze and most importantly, it reuses the same skills from React in the browser. Although I don't have extensive experience in React Native, I know React well enough to solve most problems.

I can't imagine an app without a persistence back-end and in most cases, I'm confident with a relational database. I've used MySQL since when I started PHP and have used it in almost every project. Only the past years have switched to PostgreSQL as a more modern alternative.
