JavaScript I've loved for a long time for it's functional programming roots and simplicity. I've been long-involved in the JavaScript and CoffeeScript communities building libraries and developer tools. I've long been a fan of single page JavaScript apps and interactivity in general. I've used Backbone, Angular and React professionally.

I've been using Node.js for a very long time and have built numerous developer tools and libraries for the Node.js ecosystem. At my last company I built an ad network from scratch using Node.js which scaled to handle 500,000 impressions/day (across a handful of load balanced instances).

I've used Python for many years, dabbling with most of the web frameworks over the course of my career. I've built real-time applications, developer tools, and more CMSes than I'm comfortable admitting.

I have quite a lot of Go experience and have been using it professionally for quite a while. I find it works terrific in larger projects where the safety and refactoring support of a static type system is worth the minor trade-off in development time (compared to a dynamic language).
