o Description: The Ring Android App has a vast and complex codebase that requires a large team of Android Developers, which are divided in feature teams that owns different portions of the application. Currently I am working on the “Main Dashboard” which is the entry point after setup and login, where the user sees their cameras, can use shortcuts, get some notices about offers and new features and activates his alarm modes. I also have worked in the configuration and linking of the Ring devices to other ones in the Ring Ecosystem by triggers and responses, also in the integration with Amazon Alexa Ecosystem, as well in the placement instructions and interactive guides, the feature to share devices with other users of the app and lastly integration with partners (devices from third parties). The architecture is modular, and the technical leads are very skillful and demand the best possible use of architecture patterns for different types of scenarios, for example reutilization of use cases are handle by the plugin pattern.
