AppGyver.com's Supersonic framework and tooling is probably one of the best alternatives for Hybrid Mobile Application Development because it guarantees compatibility and better performance for certain types of apps.
This framework is the parent front-end framework of my most recent project and although is relatively new, I have got to know it very well with all of its caveats and tricks ;)
