I have been passionate about JavaScript for as long as I've known about it. Interested in design patterns, optimizing code, and creating a modular and functional experience. I've got to be a part of seeing JavaScript really blossom and I'm excited to see ES6. My goal with JavaScript is to write fast, efficient, and elegant code that performs well.

Used a number of CSS preprocessors. Used bootstrap as well as created my own CSS grid system (written in LESS) that's being used at my current employer.

Used jQuery in a number of projects. Written plugins for various things as well.

At my current job, we have made the decision to migrate from Ember.JS to AngularJS, which I have been lead on. I'm currently in the process of building out our internal framework ontop of AngularJS. This includes the interesting task of making AngularJS work properly with RequireJS. I also cover AngularJS at an entry level at Bloc.io.

I worked for SitePen, who is a large contributor to Dojo and Dojo related things, such as dgrid. SitePen is a company who provides support for Dojo, whether it be questions, code review, or code creation (depending on support level). Before leaving SitePen, I lead the triaging of support tickets. This included researching issues and communicating with our customers. I have used node on a slew of various projects. I love it. It's a great, light-weight solution to server-side ops. Especially on apps that only require the server be simply a proxy between a DB and the client.

I've been using git for a while now. I have used both github and bitbucket on personal projects as well as used a custom git implementation at a previous company.
