Giorgio Polvara

I'm a Web Developer with more than ten years of experience and a passion for the frontend. I'm currently located in Barcelona, Spain, but I'm happy to take on a new remote challenge. Through the years, I was lucky enough to work with people from all over the world, try different working styles, and deploy my code to hundreds of different users.

I've learned and used several technologies from databases to CSS frameworks and all that there's in between. I'm always eager to learn the next thing.

These days my preference is for the fronted, particularly for React and TypeScript.

I'm an open-source contributor, especially in the React-Testing-Library community, where I created user-event, a package that now has more than one million downloads per week.

I'm always eager to take on new projects as I see it as a great way to improve myself by learning how different industries work.

In my spare time, I volunteer as a coding teacher, a task I genuinely enjoy. During my career, I've been complimented by different people for my patience and teaching skills.
