I studied CS at university, focused on machine learning research, and authored papers with 700+ citations.
In 2013 I joined Dropbox where we built software used by 500M people. After a few years as the product matured and the company grew large, I wanted to work at a startup.
In 2018 I joined Sentry, now the world's leading error monitoring tool and a challenger in the $4B application performance monitoring space. I first led the growth team to optimize our self-serve funnel. Then I became a product manager to invest in new product development that was essential to continued growth. My team revamped alerts, a critical part of Sentry, and achieved double digit growth in adoption and quality metrics.
In 2022 I took a break to build investing tools for the general public.
In 2023 I started Podgenie, an AI assistant (https://www.podgenie.app/) that helps content marketers at B2B companies maximize the impact and reach of their audio-video content (podcasts, webinars etc) by automatically repurposing it to text formats like blogs, emails, and case studies. The product ultimately failed because I had too much of a "build it and they will come" mindset and didn't invest enough in GTM and differentiation.
