I started programming with Rust within the last year, but have already found it to be my preferred programming language. • I now use the async-std library to write asynchronous code with stable Rust. • I have found it simple to setup Webassmbly applications with Rust that would otherwise be written in Javascript. • Rust's compiler gives some of the most useful error messages compared to many other compilers I have used.

C/C++ were the languages most of my college's curriculum had me use, I was fond of their low-level efficiency. • I prefer C over C++ but would rather program in Rust than either of them

Javascript was one of the first programming languages that I became familiar with. • I first used Unityscript (inspired by Javascript) in high school when developing a 2D game and since have been using Javascript in the browser and with Node.js. • This language introduced me to object oriented and asynchronous programming concepts, along with the idea of full stack web applications through Vue.js.
