I am Mauro Daniel from Portugal.
I worked on Upwork and Freelancer for several years.

Why I wanted to learn Go

While freelancing, I could met some clients and get Golang projects.
And at that times, I had to say that I couldn't. And also, I lost many chances to get the jobs.
So, I decided to learn Golang.

How I approached learning Go

I started to read the tutorial via online.

Challenges I faced

After learning, I got a new job which required Go and Gopher.js.
But I didn't know well about gopher.js. It was used for skycoin.
Also, I didn't know skycoin too.
But I accepted the job and started to learn again.
As I mentioned, fast learning is my best strength.

Key takeaways

I like coding and programming. That's all.

Tips and advice

There's nothing easy but if you're willing to learn anything, you should enjoy it.
Go is almost same as other programming languages.
So, if you know well at least one programming language, it'd be easy.

Final thoughts and next steps

I haven't mastered yet. So, I need to continue to learn.
