<p><strong>Q: What was the request about? </strong><br>The inital request was about how to handle an app that offered multiple login methods (Facebook, Twitter, Email), best practices about storing user info in a database and how to handle issues with user selecting different login types (like if a user setup their account with Facebook but after logout tried to login through email or Twitter).<br><br><strong>Q: How did you help with the request?</strong><br>Consulted on the problems.<br><br><strong>Q: Any best practices &amp; key learnings you can share?</strong><br>I suggested that he contact some Venture Capitalists now at this stage of his project so he will have an eassier time later on when money becomes needed. I also suggested that he have his users enter a username/screen name before even prompting a user for login or user setup then let the database decide which login method should be used or if a new user is needed.<br>&nbsp;</p>
