About the talk
This is a hands-on introduction to Laravel, a PHP web framework. We will explain the fundamentals of Laravel and build a basic web app step by step.
We’ll do a short intro followed by a 20-minute live coding session. We will then discuss how we can improve the code and end with a Q&A session. The goal is to focus on the important concepts and give you an overview of how modern web apps are built.
The final project will be available as a GitHub repository. You'll receive some challenges to complete!

- Analyze project requirements & set our goals
- Create a new Laravel project & install all dependencies
- Database: Models/Relationships/Migrations
- Frontend: Blade views/Routes/js+css compilation
