Experienced (12+ years) C# and .NET developer with a commitment to SOLID and Test Driven Development

My business, Tigra Astronomy, specializes in producing software, instruments and automation systems for astronomers. The majority of our work is hardware/software interface and observatory automation and we specialise in ASCOM drivers using C# and .net but we also do many other things. I've used C# and .Net almost exclusively for more than 10 years ever since it was first introduced in 2001. In total, I have more than 30 years' experience of software development, spanning embedded systems, telephony, communications, web/ecommerce, astronomy and things too numerous to list. I'm dedicated to the concept of continuous self-improvement and I try to adopt modern, agile practices and our internal processes are based around Atlassian Jira, Stash and Fisheye; Git with GitFlow; and TeamCity continuous integration and build. We unit test using the MSpec framework and FakeItEasy. We can mentor you through developing a software development process, as well as with specific projects in C# and .Net languages.

Full stack C# Developer and Adviser (UWP, WPF, MVC, DI Containers)

I started to make software when I was twelve; the first programming language I learned was MSX BASIC and Machine Language for 8080 CPUs. Then I started to make some applications in those languages one of the very first was a Painting Software that stored the pictures in a cassette. The second was a Sprites Animator software to make games. I also made a few little games using the Sprite Animator. A few years later I learned a new version of the MSX Basic for 80x86 CPUs (MS Basic) in which my passion for making applications and games grew up, so I developed a new version of the Sprites Animator this time for 80x86 CPUs. And many versions of a Census software for my mom’s works, among others, such as a Galaxy Game, a Shoot the Bars Game, a Board Game. When I was at the Vocational Senior High Institute, I learned a new programming language, Pascal. In the first year in that school I participated in a national contest using Pascal language and I got the first award among all the students of my school, and a mention at national level. I finished my studies in that institute when I was eighteen and I got the career at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI). At the University I stared to learn C++ programming language, but in the third year of my career, I began to learn C Sharp and Erlang at the same time. I made, with a friend of mine, a software to scan the network, using C Sharp with a server in Erlang, we called it LanSearch. It was a total success; the whole University started to use it and we started to build a social network inside the program where people could download the search results of other peoples, could chat with each other’s, and schedule the software to be notified when other people found what you were looking for, also to download it automatically, this software have a lot of functionalities. Then I started, with other friends, to specialize in social networks. In my fourth year of the career I made, in conjunction with my thesis tutor, a Platform of Distributed Applications System that we used to replace the Evaluation System of the University, because the students complain about the time they wasted waiting for the test to download due to the concurrency. The system implemented a three architecture which provided one main server and many sub-servers with many clients, all the servers were implemented in Erlang, and two king of clients, one for the students and another to control the main server, both implemented in C Sharp. My thesis was about a Smart Activity Planning System using many languages such as Mozart/Oz for the planning engine, Erlang for the server and C# / Java for the clients. I got degree with successful results, and I continue studding other technologies and working by my own. In 2010 I started to build a framework to communicate Erlang and C Charp in the easiest way ever known; I called the framework Extended Visual Otp (EVO). In 2012 I started in a project with a team about internet security programming and other related stuffs and minor projects. I also learned in the progress many other technologies and programming languages, such as, Java, JavaScript and HTML5. I also have about 1 years of experience by myself in Unity3D, I like making games and animations. Currently I found myself programming mobile technologies such as Android and Universal for Windows, I really like it, I can count now 4 years of experience in Windows Mobile Platform and currently since Universal came I covered all new things. I have worked with some companies like Singular Factory to develop applications in Windows Universal.
