Software Engineer and Web Developer
For every 15 minutes
webpack core maintainer angular-cli core team UI/UX Developer @ Mutual of Omaha, AngularJS Fanboy, Troubleshooting Guru, Debugging Ninja. webpack evangelist, speaker, and consultant. Only 3.5 years ago I was still working as a Technical Support Representative but couldn't continue to simply work around peoples problems. Instead I wanted to make a difference, an impact, and so I taught my self to program. I'm an expert troubleshooter and debugger and with enough time I could solve/debug/get to the bottom of any issue. I've worked with everything from AngularJS, Ruby, ReactJS, Backbone, jQuery, Objective-C, Swift. .NET, PHP, Laravel. I now am happily working for Mutual of Omaha as a User Experience Engineer working primarily on the front-end of the web development stack creating modular cutting edge microsites, single page applications, using Webpack, Angular, ES6, and all sorts of other great tools! As of late, I've been helping make webpack an awesome and dev friendly tool for anyone being on the core team.

On the webpack core team. Love creating custom plugins and loaders. After experimenting with build systems in my last few jobs, I stumbled across the beautiful magic of Webpack. Webpack bundles all of your files, assets, and third party libraries into efficient and optimize bundles. I have used Webpack not only with ReactJS, but also AngularJS. Configuration can be daunting at first, but once you have that 'ah hah' moment, the ceiling is limitless in what you are able to do. From vendor bundles to hot loaders, dev servers, test runners, and build optimizations, I love teaching people about Webpack's build 'magic'.

Ruby was my first language ever learned. Its syntactic sugar and duck-typing make it standalone in the world of languages. I continue to use it in anyway possible, from custom chatbots, to automated tasks, simple sinatra servers, and scripts to help increase productivity.

Although I am an AngularJS fanboy, I have come to learn, love, and embrace ReactJS at my latest Job. React has an extremely simple learning curve and is a wonderful and powerful view library for beginners. I have built single page apps, modules, graphics, as well as reusable components with React and have extremely enjoyed it.

Sean was very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am looking to resume our effort as soon as possible. We simply ran out of time and the hour was rather late. I was grateful he was willing to attempt a resolution on a weekend night and late in the evening at that. Once the issue is resolved I believe Seans rating would be upgraded. I rated 'indifferent' because the resolving the issue is still in-progress. I will update my sentiment after another session. The call quality was horrible but that was completely on me I believe. The internet in my area is the worst. I am hoping to schedule another session from my other home which has FIOS.

Sean is both technically proficient, and a great teacher. Would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for assistance with Angular2 or ES6

Sean explained very well what he was doing. Giving info about why things were working the way they were. We used plunker to collaborate on a project which made it easy to communicate. He had a lot of knowledge on hand and when he did need to look something up he paused the session.
