I have used MATLAB to solve a wide range of scientific problems. I am most proficient at MATLAB's GUI framework and have pushed it to it's functional limits to create beautiful and usable applications. I can always be found answering MATLAB questions at StackOverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/search?q=user:670206+[matlab]). I am also the lead developer for DENSEanalysis and a number of other open source projects based on MATLAB (https://github.com/suever).

I originally learned python when I studied Molecular Dynamics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Since then, I have come to use python daily for my image processing and web application development. It is a great tool and I am constantly encouraging others to learn.

I have used flask for many projects both personal and professional. Additionally, I have deployed my applications on a number of different types of systems including Apache, Nginx, and Heroku. Most recently, I have led the development of a Flask-based application that provides a RESTful API for performing reproducible medical image analysis.

I originally learned HTML and CSS to develop a basic website at my undergraduate institution for our local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Since then, I have been constantly improving my skills. I currently design and maintain websites for several companies and use HTML and CSS in my daily work as I strive to develop web applications to simplify medical image analysis.

Jonathan helped me, understand why it's important to make a readable code that has actually detailed variable names to help keep track of what I am doing in my code. Also, I liked that he explained to me why it is much easier to work with 0's & 1's than a bunch of strings because while coding gets larger things could get messy and hard to keep track of where the programmer went wrong. I would highly recommend Jonathan to mentor others, if the programmer is struggling on understand the logical/syntax error of his/her coding file. If you want clarification on why something works the way it works maybe one method or in multiple methods, he's the guy to go to
