Knowlege born from passion. Effectiveness born from experience. My journey started when I was 12 y.o. and I got my first Atari 130XE from my father. Well... Actually it started even earlier when I was trying to write my own computer programs w/o even having a computer - simply basing on books and early IT hobby magazines. Yeah, I'm one of those dinosaurs who was coding before internet even got popular :) Anyway - since that time I walked a long way ahead including hardest possible technology studies and then over 25 years of professional career. I was hardware engineer, software developer in multiple fields and technologies, system architect, entrepreneur, startupper, founder and even a corporate CTO. This gave me a unique wide view over a whole range of aspects from organic, technical implementation, through efficient systems design issues to business process understanding. I've seen a lot, I've made a lot and I learned a lot. All of this made me an expert but one thing remains unchanged - my passion for interesting technology challenges.

I was working with php technologies since its very beginning. During last 3 years mostly using Laravel 5.x framework and mysql. By that time I've built some large scale applications like: https://www.rekt.gg https://tixer.pl plus several minor ones. The database I used to use was ( due to customer needs ) mySQL database plus eventually some noSQL ones. I'm quite an expert in SQL language including not only well performant query building but also stored procedures, functions, triggers and other mechanisms, transaction understanding and solid knowlege about database specifics. My code style is clean, well documented but still reasonable, w/o unnecessary boilerplate. Good example in that field is an online video editor made for REKT inc. https://www.rekt.gg/demo https://youtu.be/HM-SYyHF93E For my applications I design a cost effective but highly performant architectures, a good example here can be again rekt.gg which works on non trivial setup containing: + several EC2 application servers in two autoscaling groups + s3 file server, RDS datastore + Elastic cache, Elastic load ballancer and cloudfront configured for a bunch of domain classes + SQS for the whole ecosystem communication I have experience in working in ( and leading / gathering ) remote teams. For this purpose I usually use: + Skype + Toggl + Trello + Slack + Gitlab / Github or the typical Altasian stack including JIRA, HipChat and Bitbucket.

Merlin.pl hybrid retail platform
Merlin is a “Polish Amazon”, born from an online bookshop and evolved into a huge e-commerce company. My task here was at first place efficient backend solution for their innovative, hybrid shopping platform and side promotional projects. It was all coded in java and contained among others a REST server, custom mail server and a prototype for merlins mobile app.

Ads'n'games was the worlds first platform for putting ads into third parties casual games. It was incorporating games makers, web publishers and advertisers into one ecosystem and one cashflow circle. Even so we were first we failed - because an other player has came into market too soon with too much cash and traffic... that player was mochiads.com

Barada Game Plant
First Polish company producing and selling casual flash games. I developed technology standards and Q&A procedures, hired the right team and teached them on game development. We've produced and sold over 300 flash games. My ex-staff still works on game industry for companies like King.com and SpillGroup B.V.
This project was targetted to advertising industry and trying to deliver a trivial to use solution for ad-games development. The idea was to create a set of ready made game engines for most popular games that can be customised in minutes w/o even seeing a single line of code. The name of this project comes from the assumption was each game engine has to fit as low as 17kb size, not more.
