I have taught two iOS courses at a local college, they were intermediate though not advanced.
I'm currently working on a startup developing an app using swift and reactive swift. I haven't used objective-c in a while since learning about swift.
When I learned about rails I love it so much that I immediately started doing all freelance projects with it, this was when rails 2 was out, but I didn't really get a lot of exposure to the framework until rails 3 came out.
My biggest project yet was a web app for an insurance company, that allowed clients to manager their accounts, pay for services and request new products from the website. It was done in rails 3.
All my professional career has been using .NET. I'm currently working as a technical lead/architect for an online irish company, I've been here for 5 years, and initially started as a senior developer.
I also founded a startup in .NET, unfortunately it didn't take off but the site is still up at http://mortgagecrunchapp.com, there are still a few active users.
I have a lot of experience in .NET architecture that I have learnt in my current role, since I have to oversee the development of websites that are expected to hold up under heavy loads.
Who doesnt know jQuery? probably my biggest accomplishment has been creating a turbolinks-like framework for internal use, it used jQuery all over. I initially proposed to use a SPA framework like ember or angular.js, but there wasn't enough time for the developers to learn it, so myself and other senior developers came up with this.
I rearchitected some high throughput service at work to use Akka, they were not so reliable, so akka.net self-healing features were a perfect fit for it. It also increased throughput significantly, since it allowed us to scale horizontally.
I'm also working on a microservices architecture to be implemented next year at work.
An example Rails 3.2 app with Mongoid for data, Devise for authentication. With a tutorial.
Could've been better

I've been writing a Rails app for about a year now, on and off. Ran into a couple of issues and was at a dead end, Roberto stepped in and helped me see how to resolve my issues and move forward. Taught me some new things. Would work with Roberto again!
